Ardagh Social Dancing is run by Ardagh Social Services: an evening of live music, dancing and good company in the community centre. A different band or singer plays each time, and recent nights have featured Kieran McAree, Ciarán Rosney, Noel Briody, Sean Kerrigan and Paul O'Connor. Everyone is welcome. Admission is €10, paid on the door, and the poster for January promised a huge dance floor, ample free parking, complimentary tea and coffee, and door prizes. The proceeds help subsidise Social Services events such as the Day Out.
