Moffatt School of Irish Dancing

Moffatt School of Irish Dancing teaches in Ardagh Community Centre on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Classes run from 4.30pm and reach from pre-school children and teenagers of all ages to an adult céilí gym class, with older dancers working towards Regionals and championship level. Beginners are always welcome, and places are limited, so contact Sheila to ask about a place.

Irish dancing classes back in Ardagh with Moffatt School of Irish Dancing

Moffatt School of Irish Dancing is back in Ardagh Community Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays. A couple of places have become available in the Tuesday 4.30pm class, which is suitable for beginners. Contact Sheila for details. The timetable on the school's poster: 4.30–5.30pm: New beginners, fully Bunghrád dancers, and people dancing for the Bunghrád award at Regionals for the first time. 5.30–6.45pm: Fully Ullmhúchán, and learning Meanghrád (people with Bunghrád only), and people dancing Bunghrád or Ullmhúchán awards for Regionals. 6.15–7.45pm: Meanghrád award dancers for Regionals. 6.45–8.30pm: Learning Ardghrád, and championship-level dancers. Places are limited.

Cash for Clobber clothes collection in the car park, Saturday 15 November

The Moffatt School of Irish Dancing Parents Association ran a Cash for Clobber clothes collection in the Ardagh Community Centre car park on Saturday 15 November, 10am–1pm. Accepted: men's, ladies' and children's clothing, paired shoes tied together, handbags, hats, scarves and ties, belts and soft toys, and curtains. Not accepted: dirty or wet clothes, mats and carpets, single shoes, pillows and duvets, and cut-off materials.
