James Gough with his two gold medals at the celebration in the centre

The community gathered to celebrate James after Mass

Best wishes to James Gough and his colleagues in the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games, from everyone in the centre.

On Sunday 28 June the community gathered in Ardagh Community Centre after Mass to celebrate the achievement of James Gough, who won two gold medals at the Special Olympics. The celebration was open to everyone, with refreshments, from 11:40am after Mass.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, and special thanks to our local Minister Dara Calleary TD and Senator Mark Duffy for joining us on the occasion. Thanks also to everyone who helped on the day with teas and coffees.

Congratulations, James.
