A mighty figure: €7,220 raised for Sunflower Children's Hospice Mayo, including additional money donated over the two weeks after the night. Huge thanks to everyone who supported and helped in any way.

A cheque for €7,000 was presented on the night, described as a true evening of togetherness. Thanks also to Nigel Reape Printing for supporting the fundraiser.

The fundraiser, promoted as the 25 Card Drive, was a 25 Card Game night in Ardagh Community Centre on Sunday 15 March at 8pm. Tickets were €10, also payable at the door, with €800 payable in prizes. You did not have to be a card shark, or play on the night, to support it.

Sunflower Children's Hospice Mayo will be the first dedicated children's hospice west of the Shannon.
