Try pickleball, the fun, easy-to-learn sport for all ages and abilities. It is played by over 36 million people worldwide, and combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping pong. The net is similar to tennis but a little lower, the ball is a hard, hollow plastic ball with holes in it, and it travels at about a third of the speed of a tennis ball. The underhand serve makes it easier to play than tennis, and more accessible for children and older adults.

Free introduction sessions at Ardagh Community Centre on Thursday 23 October, Thursday 6 November and Thursday 13 November, all with drop-in between 7pm and 8pm. Everyone welcome, and refreshments provided. Supported by Mayo Sports Partnership.
